My partner and I recently adopted 2 American Staffordshire Terriers from the pound. Both 6 1/2 weeks old. When we first got them they slept a lot but would get up and wrestle a bit and eat. a few days later the runt, only 2.5 lbs, started coughing and not eating. we took them to the vet and they gave us the antibiotic Cefalexin, it didn't get better. They both have runny noses; a cough that sounds like something is caught in throat; normal eye discarge after sleeping; sleep constantly. We were feeding them a weening formula. Neither will drink water. Yesterday I took them to the vet and she said possible distemper but because they had been vaccinated it might be a false positive, then said it could be kennel cough with another bacterial infection. Now they are on Clavamox antibiotic, and Nutri-Cal since they are eating less and less. She said that the runt was anorexic and the bigger Depressed. It has only been a few days but we fell in love and consider them our babies, please help us. I don't see them getting better and am in tears at the possibility of losing them. I am keeping them warm, letting them sleep syringe feeding them weening formula and water but they are losing weight. and now seem disoriented when they walk, but not sure if they are just still waking up. PLEASE HELP!!!!

Sorry in addition they have labored breathing. I have called out of work to take care of them and my heart is breaking. Please help
