pups confined because of distemperi got this 2 1/2 month old mini pinscher last december 16. as i checked in the internet, mini pins are supposed to be fond of playing with toys. But i observed mine was not. he was doing fine during his first night in my place. though i observed he has discharge from his eyes most of the time. on his second night with me, he woke up with his mouth bubbling with his saliva and started running around all over the place - totally hyperactive! it lasted for like 5 minutes then he calmed down and slept again. couple of hours after, he woke up again with more bubbles in his mouth. he wanted to stand up but he couldn't. he lasted about a minute with his body just shaking. after that, he kept on runnng oer the place so fast like he couldn't stop. we rushed him to the VET and found out he has distemper the VET saw spots on his stomach. he is confined now to the vet clinic for five days. Vet said he's gonna be fine. he has only been vaccinated twice since he's still young. please give me advise on how to take care of my dog since he is infected with this virus.
